2nd International Pediatric Urology Fellows Workshop
Between 13-15 January 2020, “2nd International Pediatric Urology Fellows Workshop” was held with the participation of Pediatric Urology Fellows and international lecturers from different countries in Hacettepe University, Hacettepe Faculty of Medicine Hospital, Department of Urology, Division of Pediatric Urology.

On the first day of the workshop, lectures were given on different topics of pediatric urology (hypospadias surgical techniques and complications, management of urinary system stone disease, vesicoureteral reflux surgery, basic principles of pediatric laparoscopic surgery) by Prof. Dr. Serdar TEKGUL, Prof. Dr. Hasan Serkan DOGAN, Prof. Dr. Emilio MERLINI. At the end of the meeting, presentation of the next 2 days’ operation cases was made by Dr. Kamranbay Gasimov in an interactive manner. The first day ended with a ward round in Pediatric Urology Department..
During the next 2 days, distal hypospadias reconstruction (1 case), penoscrotal hypospadias reconstruction (2 cases), ileal augmentation cystoplasty (1 case), epispadias reconstruction (2 cases), bladder neck reconstruction (1 case), ureteral re-implantation (2 cases with VUR and 1 case with UVJO), pyeloplasty in newborn (1 case), micro-PCNL (1 case), posterior urethral valve ablation (1 case) procedures were performed with the active participation of trainees.
